With the promise of rigged election comes uncertainty of street violence. It doesn’t matter who’s gonna win or loose; the loser will feel betrayed and their followers will be upset beyond control and will take it to the street.
Of course, you think this is not going to happen in YOUR street!
Because, whenever you see violence in the news; you talk about it and then forget it. Since nothing has happened to you, or nothing has happened on your street, you did not think to prepare yourself was worth it yourself and you’ll fail because you did not do anything about it.
Violence is prevalent in America. In the USA, the number of innocent death by firearm is 11 per 100,000. That is roughly 4 times more than France (who suffered horrible terrorist attacks that skewed the numbers). It is 5 times more than Israel (who have been at war with their neighbors for the past 50 years). And 400 times (yes four hundred times more) than South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, Iceland, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands and most of the other European Countries.
If you live in the US, you have 400 times (that’s four hundred times) more chance to be shot by a gun than Europeans, Asians, and Australians.
So, if the number is already at 400 times more than most countries, can you imagine the risks you have if riots, upheaval or mayhem hit the streets?
No matter what you do, where you live, what you think or what political spectrum you are part of, sooner or later violence will reach you, with all the possible consequences that can come along with it.
If you don’t equip yourself for the unavoidable, you too might become news one day. Your mindset of “that won’t happen to me” won’t help you, your family or your friends. You are just on a denying path.
There will come a moment in every person’s life when they will need to defend themselves from threats of death or grave bodily harm.
Streets Life is dangerous. Streets Life is no less inoffensive than Jungle Life. Whether on the streets of American Cities or in the Jungle, there are all kinds of predators out there. Chances are you will run into some danger in your life some day, whether from petty punks or severe life threats.
In the jungle, what if a pack of lions surrounds you? They won’t hesitate to kill you. You don’t want to become their food, right?
Ever seen a lion hunting? In nature, a predator seeks out the weak, the sick and the meek and it’s the same in the urban jungle.
Violence is a threat that very real for anyone who looks like an easy target. If your body language doesn’t reflect confidence, strength and the willpower of a fighter, you are an easy prey.
Show confidence like you control the whole world
Confidence is all. Don’t look like an easy prey. Always sustain yourself with an aura of strength. Be alert and take note of your surroundings. Always observe people’s body language from a distance and mimic them. Try sensing their intent before you engage in a street.
These are The Survival Tactics You Should Own If You Want To Survive An Urban Disaster:
- Get strong
- Know What to Do in a Riot
- Learn a fighting skill
- Know How to Deal with Looters
- Trouble can and will find you
- Always carry a weapon
1) Get strong, don’t be small
The Law of the Jungle emphasizes on the Survival of the strongest/fittest. That means: kill or be killed.
You need to take whatever steps to get faster, stronger and smarter. In the jungle, predators don’t choose a prey that is strong, bold and looks superior to them.
Keep your head on a swivel. Toughen up. Living in the US is a constant war, get strong and learn combat skills. Getting stronger will eventually serve you, your family or friends.
The best self-defense for men is muscles. When you toughen up, you look stronger, and you make yourself less attractive as a potential prey because your appearance looks more dangerous. Lifting weights is not a choice anymore, it’s your only option.
Get that gym membership, get under the bar, lift heavy, eat a lot, and get big. You’ll find that most people have no interest in messing around with you.
However, some say that forget survival of the strongest, the meanest, the fastest, the toughest, the fittest or the smartest. All of those are necessary qualities in a prepper but there is one key to survival in nearly any situation that trumps all of the above. That key is adaptability.
Anyway you see it, the choice is yours whether you want to be the prey or the predator.
2) Know What to Do in a Riot
Remember of what could happen if there is a rigged election. What happens if you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a riot and want no part of it?
These 10 survival tips will show you how to break away from the mob:
- Stay calm and keep your emotions low key
- If you’re caught in your car, again, stay calm
- Keep your doors and windows locked
- Stay on the sidelines and back away slowly
- Watch your footing
- Keep your hands up by your chest
- Avoid confrontation
- Walk, never run
- Don’t stop moving
- Get inside and stay there
3) Learn a fighting skill
Life is simple: “Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum“. (If you want peace, prepare for war.) This adage is from a Book of Latin author Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus’s tract “De Re Militari” (4th century.) It has been true for the past 2,000 years, and it is still true today.
Learning a fighting skill should be next on your bucket list. There are a lot of different fighting techniques that you could easily learn.
It’s always helpful to have the information and skill and never use it, than to need it and not have it.
Learning a fighting skill will not only improve your self-esteem ten folds. You will get more outspoken, calm, relaxed and secure no matter how bad it gets.
Your opponent will feel a change in your body language. And you’ll be treated far better in your day to day interactions. Chicks dig fighters. Having razor sharp instincts, the eye of an eagle and the fierceness of a wolf is more than enough to make them want you and ward off most potential threats.

Don’t know how to fight?
If an attack seems imminent, don’t panic and DON’T FREEZE. Stay calm to show that you are in control and get ready to defend yourself. Balance your body in the classic boxer stance; you can react quicker.
If you must fight, proceed immediately with extreme violence, close the distance between you and your assailant and deliver blows on his face. Do not stop until your attacker is completely disabled.
Eyes, nose, and ears are among the most sensitive organs of the human body; hitting them will produce a numbing sensation and possibly make them unconscious.
Survival Tip – A well-placed punch or a solid strike to the groin with your knee can drop any man to the ground in no time.
Stand your ground. Do whatever you must to defend yourself and survive. Self-defense is legal. Your lawyer can take care of the rest.
However, if fighting is the ONLY solution, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Only use deadly force as a LAST RESORT.
- Only use deadly force to save a life, not just to take a life.
- Prepare yourself mentally for SHTF every day.
- Train often with your weapons; not just “point and shoot” at a station target, but moving targets as well.
- Mentally prepare yourself to kill someone in self-defense if necessary.
- Study up on the human body’s reaction to a life-and-death situation, such as “fight or flight” and “tunnel vision.”
- Practice shooting while moving.
- Prepare yourself for the possibility that your enemy may retaliate even after you defend yourself.
- Train with weapons other than guns (such as edged weapons or impact weapons.)
- Carry a secondary weapon in case you can’t reach your gun or it’s taken from you.
- Practice drawing your weapon on a near-daily basis. It should become muscle memory for you.

4) Know How to Deal with Looters
Riots too often result in mobs of violent looters. If you own a business and want to protect your property, of just if you want to protect yourself from these people, keep the following tips in mind:
- Control your emotions
- Blend in with the enemy
- Don’t go out at night
- Always have your gear on you
- Watch the flow
- Stay away from the leader
- Be prepared to fight back
5) Trouble can and will find you
In the urban jungle, even when you’re not looking for it, one day, that will happen.
This is how I look like today. I am not that big, but I am faster, quicker and agile than most men. On any given day I can bench press 225lbs. With a height of 6’2”, I am better off than 99.99% of men on this planet.
I don’t know any specific fighting skill yet, but I do know how to throw a killer punch. Delivering a punch is a skill. It’s a full body movement; you generate force from the ground through your feet; it involves your legs, hips, upper body, shoulder, arms, hands, and head.
If you don’t know how to punch the right way, there’s a strong chance that you might break your wrist or get a minor facture.
Survival Tip: Life gets easy when you are strong and know, at worst, that you can punch your way out of any bad situation.
6. Always carry a weapon
What does the survival guide teach you? The first thing to do, when you get lost in the jungle is to find a weapon; a stick and few stones.
Even if you don’t plan to use it (but you should), having a weapon on hand is visually more intimidating. That will create that dominance look when “lions” surround you. And in the case that someone eventually attacks you, you stand a good chance of defending yourself.
You never know who might attack you on the streets. Always carry a weapon with you or learn to use nearby things as a weapon like beer bottles, belt buckles, fork, pen, chairs etc.
Survival Tip – Keep something in your car just for the rare situation where you might need to protect yourself from an immediate threat. Better be safe than sorry. Watch this video – They hit the wrong car
I now keep a baseball bat in my car solely as a means of self-defense in an extremely exceptional circumstance. A baseball bat is more intimidating; it scares the shit out of people. With a baseball bat in hand, you look like someone who is used to breaking bones, a professional badass, someone who doesn’t take shit.
Survival Tip: keep a ball along with it to avoid suspicion from the cops.
Fight or Fly?
Whether you are ready or not with all that’s written above, one rule rules them all: Always Avoid A Fight Whenever Possible
“To win without fighting is best.” – Sun Tzu
Yes, it is wise to avoid fights in all instances. The goal of your survival skills is to survive. You can survive by fleeing or be killed by fighting. If you are killed because your ego was stronger than your logic then, you are over, and what’s the point? If you see that you can’t definitively win the fight, you can easily apologize for something you said at any incident or say that you’re not looking for any trouble and that you are ready to negotiate a way out. A broken ego is better than a broken jaw.
If you need to get into a verbal abuse, make eye contact, don’t shift your gaze down or look around. Looking away is an invitation and signals that you are weak.
Never challenge a potential attacker; it will only increase the tension. A good strategy is to look for an escape route, don’t fight. But if you must, smash your assailant, make him unconscious and get the hell out.
If you challenge your assailants, they will attack you. Just let them know that you’re not scared, they might not even attack you.
The advice above is for physical fight, but it is also good for non-physical fight. Got any street-smart survival skills of your own? Share them with us in the comments! Good luck, and have a nice day.
